NSFW (JK)

In the internet and texting age, we use so much short hand that it's nearly impossible to keep track of it all. Recently I ran into one I wasn't familiar with: NSFW. I had seen these letters in passing throughtout the blogosphere, but never came in direct contact with them. Then, a few days ago, I saw them tacked on to the end of the title of a post on one of my favorite blogs. I didn't know what "NSFW" meant, but I assumed the article would clarify so I clicked to open the article. I opened the article during a break at work, seated in my cubicle which is situated directly outside of one of the busiest conference rooms in our building. Oh, and, if the conference room is unoccupied, you can clearly see from the lobby, into the conference room window, through the conference room door, through my cubicle opening and right to my monitor. I wish I had known that "NSFW" means "Not Safe For Work."

NOTE: If you didn't already know the meaning of NSFW, this is probably good knowledge to have while reading this blog.
